On joining DIT and the Civil Service there will be a range of learning and development opportunities across all of the roles:

Civil Service Learning | a one stop shop for e-learning and face to face courses to develop your skills within the Civil Service.

Government Finance Academy | The Government Finance Academy (GFA) was launched in February 2016 as part of the HM Treasury Financial Management Review. They provide high quality learning and development offers to help improve financial skills, capability and talent across the Government Finance profession. You can find more information here.

As a Grade 6 or Grade 7, you will have the opportunity to apply to the Civil Service Talent Scheme called Future Leaders Scheme. It is the Civil Service’s flagship development pathway to help talented individuals develop the skills needed for the most senior roles across the Civil Service.
