Role purpose
Executive lead on:

LCF’s Financial, Investments and Asset Management
-
Lead on Audit, Risk and Investment Committee reporting and engagement

Lead on governance administration for the Charity
-
Compliance and Policy the Charity
-
People Offer, Policies and Performance, including reporting on EDI
-
Lead on LCF’s supply chain management, including property and digital infrastructure

Key duties and responsibilities
Job description
1. Financial Management:
-
Lead on overseeing LCF’s Financial, Investment and Asset Management
-
Lead on LCF’s audit, banking and investment house relations
-
Report to ARIC on LCF’s Financial, and Investment Performance, Reserves
-
Lead on Financial Accounts and Statutory Audit Reporting
-
Maximise LCF’s financial resilience through effective cost management and cash investments
-
Ensure effective financial management according to the Charity SORP and Company Regulation
-
Work closely with Director colleagues to ensure LCF’s delivery is effectively priced and monitored
2. People and Team Management:
-
Achieve excellent performance from the Finance and Resources Team
-
Ensure LCF stays informed and compliant on all People-related policies and regulation
-
Oversee administration and impact of LCF’s People Offer
-
Oversee LCF’s training provision
-
Lead on People Performance reporting, in line also with LCF’s EDI commitments
3. Governance and Compliance:
-
Provide Executive lead and support to CEO, SMT, Committees and Board on governance according to LCF’s business cycle
-
Lead on Assurance and Risk Management for the Charity, including Risk Register and Control Framework reporting
-
Provide Executive lead on LCF’s Donor Compliance including fund management, reporting and endowment management, ensuring a compliant and customer-service approach

Provide the Company Secretary function and lead on all regulatory requirements
-
Ensure effective oversight of LCF’s contracts library and management
-
Lead of ensuring the Charity stays up to date on all regulation and legislative requirements

4. Property and Office Management:
-
Provide an executive lead on LCF’s supply chain management including recruitment, digital, office management, and IT
-
Ensure LCF supply chain provides value for money and aligns wherever possible
with our EDI and social value commitments -
Lead of LCF’s property / office requirements and operational management
5. Digital and Data Management:
-
Ensure LCF’s digital services enable effective and agile infrastructure for the Charity’s Team to execute their duties
-
Ensure the Charity maintains effective and compliant information storage and data management

6. Strategic and Inclusive Impact:

Contribute to LCF’s overall strategic management and performance
-
Proactive and collaborative member of the SMT
-
Provide inspiring and inclusive leadership across teams, role modelling LCF’s values and behaviours
​
Any other tasks commensurate with the role which may be required (including planned and occasional work or events in the evening / out of regular working hours.
Skills, experience and knowledge
You may have worked across public, private or charitable sectors in Director or Senior Management roles.
