Deputy Director, Strategic Finance

This exciting role offers the opportunity to join DIT’s Finance Function in a dynamic, international economic department. DIT is a growing Ministerial Department at the heart of the UK’s relationship with the global economy. 

 

I’m looking for a highly skilled leader who can work with Ministers, Senior Officials and Policy, Analysis and Delivery colleagues to shape DIT’s long term financial plans and ensure they are sustainable. You will be committed to ensuring that DIT has value for money at the heart of its decision making and its stewardship of public funds.

The Deputy Director, Strategic Finance will lead on the department’s financial approach to fiscal events, the annual business planning process and will be responsible for a growing team of finance business partners as well as a small, central risk management function. You will need to build strong and collaborative relationships with a range of stakeholders across the Department and wider Government to ensure DIT’s funds are managed properly.
