Head of Finance: Chief Accountant

The Head of Finance Chief Accountant will be leading on the team looking at making improvements across Financial Accounting, Financial Controls, Fixed Assets, Capital Accounting, Systems Management and Digital Transformation. A key part of the role will be to develop a high performing finance team that is looking at continuous improvement.

Head of Finance: Adult Social Care & Public Health 

The Head of Finance Adults Social Care & Public Health will be leading on the transformation for the department, including implementing Business Partnering, and being the key contacts for senior stakeholders including Cabinet Members and Director for all strategic finance and business partnering matters. Key areas of focus across the department will be supporting the integration of health and social care, providing support for older residents, those with mental health problems, complex needs or those with disabilities.

Head of Finance: Growth, Housing & Corporate Services

The Head of Finance Growth, Housing & Corporate Services will be leading on the transformation for the department, including implementing Business Partnering, and being the key contact for senior stakeholders including Cabinet Members and Director for all strategic finance and business partnering matters. Key areas of focus across the department will be ensuring decent quality housing that buyers and renters can afford, whilst protecting and enhancing the borough.

Head of Finance: Children's Social Care & Education (2 year FTC)

The Head of Finance Children’s Social Care & Education will be leading on the transformation for the department, including implementing Business Partnering, and being the key contact for senior stakeholders including Cabinet Members and Director for all strategic finance and business partnering matters. Key areas of focus across the department include improving services for children and young people, ensuring the needs of children are considered in everything Barnet does and that they have good schools with enough places so all children have access to a great education.

Head of Finance: Environment, Parking and Corporate Reporting

The Head of Finance Environment, Parking & Corporate Reporting will be leading on the transformation for the department, including implementing Business Partnering, and being the key contact for senior stakeholders including Cabinet Members and Director for all strategic finance and business partnering matters. Key areas of focus across the department include supporting all the corporate departments and looking to have an impact on the local environment.
