Finance Managers Financial Accounting & Controls x 2
The Finance Managers Financial Accounting & Controls will play a key role in helping to develop a best in class financial accounting team who are always looking at continuous improvement, have a faster close down and have strong processes and controls in place.
Finance Managers Growth, Housing & Corporate Services x 2
The Finance Managers Growth, Housing & Corporate Services will support the Head of Finance Growth, Housing & Corporate Services with the transformation of the department, including implementing Business Partnering. They will also support decision making around key areas such as ensuring decent quality housing that buyers and renters can afford and the delivery or major regeneration schemes to create better places to live and work, whilst protecting and enhancing the borough.
Finance Manager Adults Social Care & Public Health
The Finance Manager Adults Social Care & Public Health will support the Head of Finance Adults Social Care & Public Health with the transformation for the department, including implementing Business Partnering. They will also support decision making around key areas such as supporting the integration of health and social care, providing support for older residents or those with mental health problems, complex needs or those with disabilities.
Finance Managers Treasury & Income Generation
The Finance Manager Treasury & Income Generation will work with the Assistant Director Investments & Innovation to lead on production of the council’s treasury management strategy and assisting in the formulation of the Council’s long term borrowing strategy. The role will also get involved with looking at new ways of generating income.
Finance Managers Major Projects
The Finance Manager will support the Head of Major Projects with the transformation for the department, including implementing Business Partnering. They will also provide financial modelling and support decision for major projects including major regeneration schemes to create better places to live and work.
Finance Managers Children’s Social Care
The Finance Manager Children’s Social Care will support the Head of Finance Children’s Social Care & Education with the transformation for the department, including implementing Business Partnering. They will also support decision making around key areas of focus across the department include improving services for children and young people and ensuring the needs of children are considered in everything Barnet.
