This is a great time to be working in the Security Industry Authority (SIA); we’ve just appointed our Digital Services provider and we’ve got an exciting Digital Transformation programme to deliver over the next three years.  We’ll be introducing new government services, such as Onelogin and Digital ID as well as the technical upgrade to Dynamics 365 and new systems to improve our efficiency and effectiveness.

 

We are a non-departmental public body with a remit for public protection. Our purpose is to protect the public through effective regulation of the private security industry.

 

The SIA has a strong track record of delivering technical change and improvements. We have a new Data & Digital Strategy which sets out how we will achieve the corporate vision to become a more modern and digitally aware organisation. A key strand of our corporate priorities is our digital change agenda. Our plans have been heavily influenced by the Home Office & Government Digital Service Teams, as we align our technology priorities and roadmap. With big changes ahead in areas such as One Login, Digital ID, and Smart Licensing, we are embarking on a very exciting period of change for our business and customers, driven through digital transformation, seeking improvements, efficiencies, and modernisation in our business operations.

 

We are looking to recruit the team to deliver the Transformation Programme, ensuring our existing live services are protected. It’s important that you are motivated and collaborative and share our commitment to protecting the public and raising standards in the private security industry.

 

The roles will work alongside our Digital Transformation Lead, our Chief Information Officer (CIO) and key stakeholders in delivering the Transformation Programme.
