WELCOME LETTER

COME JOIN THE ROUNDHOUSE!

Firstly, a big thank you for your interest in the Head of Finance role here at the Roundhouse. 

The Roundhouse is truly an inspirational place to work and if you are successful we promise that you will find it hugely rewarding.

 

You will be joining at a critical and exciting moment as we emerge from the challenges of the last 18 months and forge the next stage of our history. A history that seen that has seen us transform the lives of hundreds of thousands of young people, host and programme a diverse range of world class artists and musicians and develop an enviable funding and commercial model.

However, none of that would be possible without the strength of our Roundhouse Team. The Head of Finance and Business Planning plays a pivotal role in the organisation not only as guardian of the resources but as a catalyst for change and an enabler; helping the whole organisation deliver its short, medium & long-term objectives.

 

Over the next five years the Roundhouse’s principal goal is to expand our creative offer, depth of engagement, inclusion and reach so that we can further increase the number of young people we work with. 

 

Our additional objectives that are closely aligned to our principal goal are:

 

  • We will represent the broad diversity of London; we will do this by working with and showcasing art made by our creative communities and through partnership with our internal broadcast team as well as with national/international platform providers. 

 

  • We will evidence the importance of, and advocate for, creativity and creative spaces whilst championing the voice of young people. 

 

  • In order to enable the Roundhouse to achieve both its financial and growth ambitions over the next 5 years we will focus on developing a more commercial culture as well as developing new fundraising partnerships that maximise the opportunity

 

  •  We will strive to be an inclusive, agile and efficient organisation that fosters innovation, creativity and high levels of performance by investing in leadership and staff development, attracting, rewarding andretaining our best talent, listening to and engaging with our staff and developing a working environment that our staff are proud of.

 

So you can see that we are not resting on our laurels and are looking to increase our impact in many ways.

 

Delivering all of this will not be easy but we are up for the challenge and are looking for the right leadership team to build this.
