Security Vetting Process
DV clearance or a willingness to undergo DV clearance is an essential requirement for this role.
Successful candidates will be permitted to start with SC enhanced clearance whilst they undergo the DV clearance processes.

SC enhanced vetting allows regular uncontrolled access up to secret assets and occasionally, controlled access to top secret assets. It is used for specific roles where an additional level of assurance is required.

Developed vetting (DV) is a highly comprehensive form of security clearance, required for people with substantial unsupervised access to top secret information.

DV will ask about you, your family, and your finances. You will have an interview with a vetting officer and there will be some uncomfortable questions on your sexual history, preferences and drug and alcohol use.

The interviewer is not there to make a moral judgment. The vetting officer will handle your application with care, and you will be treated with respect at all points of your application.

The timescale for obtaining the relevant security clearance varies. We will keep you regularly informed throughout the process.
