This is a massive appointment both for me and the wider organisation and I am confident you will be inspired by what is on offer here.  I joined the Trust last year, and can say confidently that TSD is a great Foundation Trust with huge opportunities on the horizon.

I came to Torbay & South Devon to experience first-hand truly integrated models of care and play a role in shaping health and care services for the next generation.  You would be joining the Trust at a truly exciting period, with over £350m earmarked through the HIP 2 initiative for a wide-ranging digital transformation programme and a comprehensive redevelopment of the acute campus.

In this role, you will play a crucial role in growing and developing the finance and procurement functions.  In supporting me to address some of the key strategic questions we face and to recover our underlying financial performance, you will not only take responsibility for the day-to-day financial management of the Trust, but also act as a supportive and enabling partner to improve quality and value across all our services, whether acute, community or social care.

Generous relocation support is available for the right candidate. Having made the move from London myself 12 months ago, I have never looked back, despite Covid’s best efforts.  The work we face is no less demanding here, but the quality of time spent away from work is on a completely different level.
