PAY AND BENEFITS

Salary

Circa £70,000 per annum

The Library is currently transitioning from its existing pay and grading system. Up until now it has followed the single-spine pay scale established in the 2003 Framework Agreement negotiated between the University and Colleges Employers’ Association (UCEA) and the major trade unions representing university employees. However, it is in the process of implementing a new pay system under which roles are evaluated and benchmarked to establish an appropriate salary range. The range for this role has been calculated as £63,840 – £74,480. Future increase will be determined by an annual pay award comprising of an amount related to any inflation in the cost of living and an additional amount related to skills acquisition.
