I have had the privilege of being CFO for the past couple of months and I have been building my top team since. The appointment of Head of Financial Planning and Budget Analysis is the final part of that jigsaw and I’m very excited to meet some great candidates who believe passionately in all children and young people across the UK having a happy and safe childhood and the foundations they need to thrive.

​

This is an exciting time to join as we mark a proud history of 150 years’ service to children and families. But alongside that pride we must redouble our efforts as we see more and more children living in poverty and a child being taken into care every 15 minutes. That simply isn’t acceptable in one of the richest countries in world. So, as well as your professional expertise we are looking for someone who will share our passion and determination to make life better for children.

We need a Head of Financial Planning and Budget Analysis that is a team player and strong collaborator but also someone who has a high degree of personal responsibility and accountability. You will drive our strategic financial planning and management and have the interpersonal skills to support colleagues across the organisation to ensure we are using our resources effectively and efficiently.
