Person Specification

We are looking for someone who:

Is ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
-
Has significant experience in progressive financial roles

Can demonstrate staff management experience and is able to lead, handle performance issues and motivate
-
Proactively seeks change to improve performance and processes
-
Has great relationship-building skills and can work well and communicate effectively with a wide range of people

Can demonstrate:
-
The ability to frame information into clear analyses, with the appropriate strategic focus
-
The ability to support the organisation whilst remaining independent and objective (and within the bounds of all accounting standards and regulations)
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate financial concepts in laypeople’s terms and to work with staff of different levels from Executive to Support level

Sensitivity to the roles and responsibilities of others

Effective engagement of partners across the organisation

Has a high level of IT skills, including:

Experience of a using medium to large financial software packages and reporting tools

Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills

Is able to cope with and prioritise heavy workloads

Is able to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the role that diversity and inclusion play in the activities of the Southbank Centre as a whole and in the work of this particular job
