The Royal Free Hospital was established in 1828 by William Marsden on the founding principle that they would take in anyone who needed treatment – the first hospital in London to do so. As we enter the latest phase of our development the role of Director of Financial Performance at the Royal Free Hospital is fundamental to the success of the. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive the financial performance of the largest hospital in our group whilst also playing a full role in the senior leadership team of the Royal Free. This role is also the Deputy CFO and so will be key to driving forward a number of the benefits we believe will be accrued by our group model.

 

It is clear that the NHS is facing one of the most significant periods of uncertainty in its long history and the future will bring new challenges. In the 70th anniversary year of the NHS we believe that we have a plan that will provide one of the blueprints for NHS sustainability into the future.
