Salary

Applicants currently holding a permanent post in the Civil Service should note that, if successful, salary on promotion would be determined by the Departments transfer/promotion policies.

For all external candidates, the expectation is that you would start at the base point of the salary scale appointed within.

SEO Roles

*plus an accountancy allowance of £8,838 for qualified accountants

Grade 7

*plus £4,495 accountancy allowance

Pension

Civil Service pension schemes may be available for successful candidates.

Annual Leave

Your annual leave allowance will be 25 days, increasing by one day every year to a maximum of 30 days after five years’ service.

In addition, all staff receive the Queen’s Birthday as a privilege one-day holiday in addition to eight days’ bank and public holidays.
